The only planned events whilst here were to visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum at Ground Zero
and to do a Clipper Ship cruise past the Statue of Liberty.
But when you have friends willing to show you the best of THEIR city - there is a whole lot more "unplanned" adventures to experience.
Arriving in New York - Saturday 10th September 2011
We arrived at Penn Station in New York & were picked up by German firefighters, who took us to our hotel to check in and then we went to a Firehouse. (Fire Station)
Firehouse - Engine 219 / Ladder 105. Lost 7 men on 9/11
After visiting with the Firehouse we were given a tour of New York at night
