Without the assistance of Cindy, Grant & Jo & staff from GAHD the ride would not of been possible.
Nor would it of been possible if not for the support of the Patriots Australia - a group of returned serviceman for volunteering and assisting with corner markers.
It would also not of been possible if not for Firefighter Scott for leading the pack of 140 riders.
Also MANY thanks to all who stayed behind and helped serving sausages on bread to those who came to Harley Davidson while we were on the ride.
Thanks also to 10 time World Muay Thai Champion John Wayne Parr for making a guest appearance to sign autographs and for the items to be auctioned by GAHD, to Rupert McCall for his "Firefighters Dream" poster signed by FDNY also to be auctioned, Air Guitar Champion Tommy Thundah, River 94.9 Radio Station & Julie McDonald for also making appearances.
Special HUGE thank you to the Canungra fire station boys & girls for hosting our morning tea at Canungra and to Chaplain Dennis Bryant and Family Support Chaplain Genne for blessing all the riders before the ride and thanks to the "Firefighter Band" The Occasionals for entertaining us on our return.
Another "SPECIAL" thank you to Steve, Frosty & Toby for staying behind and helping Nathan and Tracee with their accidents.
And finally heartfelt thanks to Steve Bunney - Firefighter and Director of the Firefighter Cancer Foundation Australia for organising the ride to help raise not only much needed funds but the awareness of what it is the Foundation is about.
To Allan - a firefighter who has survived cancer after 30 years fighting fires we thank you for your courage and dignity displayed today.
